I had a car shipped recently with this company. The people at the Ohio office were friendly prompt, and helpfull. The price quote wasn't the cheapest I received. and I was expecting slightly better service. My move was subcontracted out, they were four days late from the date they said, and did not contact the people at the pickup end of the delay. I was not in any big hurry on the delivery, but I still had to have someone available for pickup and delivery. The delivery was seven days later than they first said, one day later than the date SMS had given me when I contacted them.

The carrier didn't contact me till a little more than an hour before he arrived. This was the first and only contact the sub made during the process. The car arrived okay, but the form for any existing damage was not filled out. A walk around was not given upon delivery to veriy the condition of the car. I also noted the carrier name on the truck was different than the one given me by SMS.

Overall I think I got the same service I would of got had I gone to a cheaper broker. SMS needs to look at who they contract out too. The move was acceptable, but need better communications from subs. on schedules.
