Subject: DAMAGED VEHICLES - NO RESPONSIBILTY
Review:DO NOT use Official AUTO Transport, Fast and Furious Trucking or JZ Transportation - After reading several reviews it's becoming more clear that this company really doesn't care about your vehicle. The Car I bought on EBAY was bought to restore in a condition that was very very workable. After my vehicle was delivered with the front end smashed, i am now stuck with incredibly expensive body work that was not planned. The contract specifically stated that the AUTO was not in operating condition but OFFICIAL AUTO TRANSPORT did not check up on it's subcontracted DRIVERS...who then subcontracted to a 3rd party. The poor driver had several unoperable vehicles on his carrier..including a mercedes with no brakes on the top section. egads i wonder how they managed to get that one down.
I do not understand why OFFICIAL AUTO TRANSPORT does not compensate me for my vehicle damage. THEY would not even re-emburse me for the trouble.
I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and have already contacted the Florida State Attorney Generals Office.. as well as the Florida State Finance office.
BEWARE they don't CARE!

This review's accusations are totally false. To say that we really don't care about our customer's vehicles in print is borderline libel. In fact it is libelous because it couldn't be further from the truth. With regards to Mr. Avanzato's car we did our job. We gave him a fair price quote, set him up with one of our drivers that was fully insured and was made aware that the vehicle was a non-running unit and they assured us that they could safely ship the vehicle in that condition. They did the same thing with the seller when they picked it up. The vehicle was shipped within a reasonable time frame and allegedly the vehicle became damaged during the loading of the vehicle and we quickly sent over the driver's insurance so that Phill could process a fair claim for the damaged right head light area for the vehicle (which as I am told by the driver was pretty old to begin with). We assisted him throughout this claim and logged significant man hours with Phill and another gentleman he had assisting him in the process. I was called a "cock sucker" etc. but persevered in assisting them in processing the claim. I called the pick up contact Mr. Praesel when I heard the claim was denied and faxed over a number of documents to the insurance company to get the claim reopened. I placed several phone calls to the driver to see if they had fired the driver and would be willing to pay for the damages. I called the insurance company several times to debate the fairness of their claim denial and they cited a consititutional provision that protects drivers from insurance claims when the loading is facilitated by the shipper and a vehicular malfunction, not the driver was at fault for the damage. When I explained the situation to Phill he told me that he understood and even admitted that it was in no way Official Auto Transport's fault. So how can he now say that we didn't care and didn't check up on the driver. We have signed documents from the driver acknowledging the fact that the vehicle was non-running and that they could safely load it. Not to mention there were no items stolen from Mr. Avanzato or his vehicle either. I understand his frustration. But his bitter misrepresentation of the facts should only further the doubt of credibility in any of his claims.
