Transporting my car from FL to California.

I didn't have any problems with the pickup but the delivery was a nightmare.
Two weeks later. They will tell anyone its a 10-14 days for the delivery which was a lie. They took an entire week longer.

It was supposed to be ready for deliver on monday the 18th. I waited for calls and no one called me. I called on tuesday and they told me, it was not in the area and that be there until Thurday or friday. 5 days late of the promised delivery date!

No one called me until friday afternoon and they told me they would deliver it on monday and only could do the 9am to 12 noon. (I just relocated and i would be starting my job that week) I actually moved up my work schedule a whole week to accomadate my car if it came in 4-5 days late- but Jay Phillips had a 7 day delay. They also didn't call, had extremely rude customer service.

Because my car was delivered 1 week late I also had to rent a car(for transportation) for $180 dollars for the week- out of my pocket!

When i called and asked my broker why they were late they told me- it was there on sunday and they were trying to get a hold of you. Getting a hold of you means not calling until Friday 5 days after the expected delivery day for them.

They were given my cell phone number and they did not call me at ALL until 5 days AFTER it was due for delivery.

They basically lied to the broker. But since there are 2 companies broker & transporter and only 1 customer. the customer ALL ways get screwed.

(1) they were late
(2) they expected me to interrupt my first week on the job to sign for my car because they were late
(3) they lied about when the car would get there.
(4) they lied about trying to reach me.
(5) they kept refering me to another company to the broker who did not do anything either.

so that's 1450+180(because i had to rent a car because they were 7 days late) For bad service & late delivery.

this is extremely recent June of 2007
